Your money will go towards purchasing food and clothes for displaced families inside Syria and for those whose homes and livelihoods have been destroyed.

We also need a regular source of funds to support the field hospitals inside Syria, the main one we are supporting being in the Homs district. These require constant supplies of medicines and are desperately in need of more medical equipment.

In many of the cities outside Damascus, these field hospitals are now the only functional medical service in the area. Even in areas where hospitals still remain, they are too dangerous for injured civilians to get to. Judging by the current political situation, it will take months or even years to re-establish a functional health system in many of Syria’s devastated cities.
